Professionally, I used to head a department of people who pay the salaries of about 3500 employees in our company.  I left the corporate world on 17 October to start a guesthouse with my husband, Johan, so we are very busy with the final renovations and hope to open soon.  Personally, I have a wonderful husband and three wonderful, grown-up children, a really great son-in-law and another really great almost-son-in-law.  I love nature - especially the sea. I love quiet and peaceful places.  I love all seasons, but especially the spring and summer.  I also love good music and good food.   I hate violence with a passion.  I get irritated by inconsiderate people and by pollution of all kinds.  I feel uncomfortable in crowds and prefer spending my time sharing quality time with smaller groups of friends and interesting people.  I am terrified of the edge of any steep drop (heights).  I am very greatful for and happy with my life.
